Introducing Pawsitive Path Dog Training

Welcome to Pawsitive Path Dog Training

And Meet the Dogs Who Help Shape Everything I Do

Starting a dog training business is rarely just about training dogs—it’s about relationships, communication, and helping both dogs and people feel understood. That belief is at the heart of Pawsitive Path Dog Training, and I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Kyle Schreiber, and I founded Pawsitive Path to help families build calmer, more confident, and more connected lives with their dogs. I specialize in positive, science-based training that supports dogs with big emotions, big energy, or big questions about the world around them.

At Pawsitive Path, training isn’t about “fixing” dogs—it’s about guiding them, meeting them where they are, and giving them the skills they need to succeed.

Our Training Philosophy

Every dog has a reason for their behavior. Fear, excitement, frustration, confusion—these emotions drive actions, and when we understand why a dog is doing something, we can teach them what to do instead.

My approach is:

  • Force-free and positive reinforcement–based

  • Grounded in behavior science and learning theory

  • Focused on long-term emotional wellbeing, not quick fixes

  • Designed for real life, not just perfect training scenarios

Whether we’re working on leash skills, cooperative care, reactivity, puppy foundations, or household manners, the goal is always the same: clear guidance, trust, and confidence for both dogs and humans.

My Personal Mission

My mission is to help dogs and their people feel safe, understood, and successful together. I believe that every dog deserves training that respects their emotions, honors their individuality, and builds confidence rather than compliance. Through compassionate, science-based guidance, I aim to empower families with practical skills, realistic expectations, and a deeper understanding of their dog—so training becomes not just something you do, but a relationship you build.

Meet My Dogs

(My Greatest Teachers)

While education and professional training matter, the dogs who’ve taught me the most live right at home with me. Finn, Sadie, and Casey have shaped how I train, how I empathize, and how I support clients navigating their own dog’s challenges.

🐾 Finn

Finn taught me that progress isn’t always linear—and that patience and consistency matter more than perfection. Working with him deepened my understanding of how important it is to move at the dog’s pace and celebrate small wins, especially for dogs who have big feelings.

🐾 Sadie

My second dog, Sadie, currently age 9

Sadie reminds me every day that joy and enthusiasm are strengths. Her energy pushed me to become more thoughtful about channeling excitement in productive ways, while still honoring a dog’s personality and emotional needs.

🐾 Casey

My third dog, Casey, currently age 4

Casey reinforced one of the most important lessons in dog training: there is no one-size-fits-all approach. She showed me how essential it is to adapt training plans to the individual dog in front of you and to remain flexible, observant, and compassionate.

Together, Finn, Sadie, and Casey have taught and continue to remind me that good training is kind, individualized, and rooted in trust.

Who I Work With

I work with dog guardians who:

  • Want a kind, effective approach to training

  • Feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start

  • Have dogs with fear, reactivity, or big emotions

  • Want better communication, not stricter control

You don’t need a “perfect” dog to work with me. You just need a willingness to learn alongside them.
